You

“You by Maisie Aletha Smikle

You are loved
You are precious
You are marvelous
You are original

You are one of one kind
You cannot be cloned
You cannot be another
Only you can be you

No one can be you except you
Every nucleus fiber and muscle
Were weaved together by the Creator
In the shelter of the womb you were placed to grow

From cells you miraculously multiplied
Into organs tissues and bones according to the Master Plan
According to the Original Blue Prints
You were given finger prints like no other

You are indeed special
Not made in a hurry
Only two were made in a day
Neither of the two were you

God took months to mold you
Because you are undoubtedly special
You might get no visits
You might get no gifts

You might get no cards
You might get no wishes
You might get neither cash
You might get neither kind

Remember your gift of Life
More precious than coins silver and gold
God gave the gift of Life to you
Every single day you get this gift

You are indeed loved
To have been given the most precious gift of all
An incomparable gift like no other
A gift that's larger than wealth and treasure”

Pinky Pig

“Pinky Pig by Maisie Aletha Smikle

Pinky pig is big
Pinky wears no wig
Pinky likes to wallow
Pinky’s wallow makes her cotton white hair butter yellow

The butcher comes calling
Pinky started bawling
I ain't your bacon
I ain't your ham

I ain't no steak
I ain't no loin called Sir
Am just a pig
Called Pinky

Don't use me for steak
I take too long to bake
Am not fit for a cake
My life is at stake

But all you need is steak
Steak rare
Steak medium
Steak well done

See I ain't none
I ain't rare
I ain't medium
I ain't well done

It's the season
To be butchered and eaten
But I ain't your steak to bake
Am just Pinky the pink pig”

Rosebush

“Rosebush by Maisie Aletha Smikle

I am a flower
I am a thorn
I am beautiful
I am ugly

I can make you happy
I can make you sad
I can make you smile
I can make you cry

A rosebush I am
With aromatic titillating fragrances
Scented to warm the heart
And stimulate the senses

Like a coat of many colors I come
Adorned with needle sharp thorns
Designed to prick and puncture
For natural therapeutic acupuncture

My thorns the Master carried on His head
That pricked Him sore till He bled
A crown of rosebuds was withheld
A crown of thorns was used instead

Lovely beautiful prickly rosebush
Designed by God the Father
With thorns to make its stalks complete
Without which the rosebush would be incomplete

If one desires a rosebush
Be prepared for the thorns
For a rose is not a rose
Without its prickly thorns

The rosebush endowed
With its attributes intricately woven
Has proven not to deceive
But to intrigue mesmerize and hypnotize”

Angry Birds

“Angry Birds by Maisie Aletha Smikle

Angry birds from whence does your anger come?
Who taught toothless birds to chirp like mad dogs and hiss like rattle snake?
Did their anger come from the eggs from which they were hatched?
Did their anger come from an envious psychotic owner?

Who was envious of the birds' sweet dispensation
And went on a selfish rampage
Converting birds dogs chickens and cats into insanity
With no regard for animals or humanity

Sweet gentle toothless birds
Converted into rambling mad dogs
Barking and howling at nothing and at everything
Annoying even the quiet ants

Oh sweet gentle birds
Filled with toxic angry madness
Don't disturb the sleeping ants
Or the living who rest in peace

Ramble at the cemetery
You have killed them with your rambling noise
Now they lie six feet under
Thanking God they are not up yonder

To hear such despicable rambling
Who placed angry birds in tree tops?
Who placed angry birds on window sills?
With the intention to kill

The quiet holy spirit
And things gentle and quiet
Oh sweet gentle birds
They have stolen your melodious melody

They have envied your charm
They have envied your quiet beauty
And have converted you into angry birds to kill the calm
And the imperishable precious beauty of quiet tranquility”

Beauty and the Beasts

“Beauty and the Beasts

1 Peter 3:3
Do not let your adorning
be external—the braiding of hair,
the wearing of gold,
or the putting on of clothing—

External beauty is
wearing nice clothes,
gold and lovely braids.
But inner beauty is what
God treasures which is a quiet
and gentle countenance.

1 Peter 3:4
But let your adorning
be the hidden person of the heart
with the imperishable beauty of a
gentle and quiet spirit, which in
God's sight is very precious.”
